Vision Board 2022

To celebrate the new year I thought I’d try something with you what I’ve been hearing about: A Vision Board

It’s a nice way to visualize your goals for the future and in this case, 2022. I know I’m not alone in wanting things to get better, and this is a powerful way to exemplify power through desire.

What I love about this project is that you can make it as simple or involved as you want! You can make it a huge poster for a wall or a small presentation that fits near your desk at home or at work. You can even make a purely digital version if physical crafts aren’t your thing! Since I have a thing for both…yup – I wanted to make 2 versions. And I wonder why I feel like I have no time! I barely finished the collage on paper actually because I’ve gone back to work and as it happens I have a lot of replacing to do. I’m happy though, it feels really good to be back! Today is going to be long though. I’m writing this at 5:53 a.m. and have to drop Aaron off at the train station early before my shift at 9. At least I work 5 hours and not 8 though. I don’t think I’m ready for that. Alright, moving on to the project! (I’ll probably make a better version when I have time.)

Vision Board 2022

Materials (for craft version):

Scissors

Glue stick

Colouring pens/pencils/markers etc.

White paper

Construction paper and/or craft paper with patterns (You can get nice ones at the dollar store.)

Extras:

Stickers

Sequins/glitter, etc.

A printer if you don’t want to draw pictures

Absolutely necessary:

Bring your imagination and let your dreams out…even when you have deep personal doubt. Trust me, if I made mine only with stuff I think I CAN do, my vision board would probably be pretty empty haha. Let loose! It’s a new year!

On a final note, i wish you all the very best for the New Year. We all hope the pandemic will ease up but I also hope we can find things that make us happy and continue to take care of ourselves and each other. Happiness, health, small pleasures, pursuing passions…let’s make 2022 a year we’ll be proud of this time next year!

Happy New Year!
